Hey,

I'm Phillip.

I was born and raised in Austin so I consider central Texas my home. I've spent many a night camped out under the stars in the Hill Country and have spent even more time driving around with friends looking for spots that no one knows about.

I started falling in love with photography in 2012 when I bought my first camera so I could be on the photo and video team at Camp Lone Star, the Christian summer camp that I had attended since I was 8 years old. I would spend the next 4 summers out there running around with my camera capturing the magic of summer camp.

From grass-roots

beginnings.

I never went to school for photography or took any in=person or online courses. I've just been surrounded by a number of friends that are also photographers and learned from them how to find good lighting, how to shot timelaspes of the milky way, how to tell a story with a photo, how to shoot events, and how to work with brands to make their vision become a reality.

I have friends that are photographers for National Geographic, large advertising companies, local wedding photographers, and hobbyists. All have helped me hone my craft and made me the photographer I am today.

Creating powerful imagery

that tells a story.

I love stories. Whether we're talking about bedtime stories or fantasy stories that span 14 books (please read the Wheel of Time series if you havm't already) I think that good stories are some of the best ways to teach others about the human experience. I think that story invades everything we do; from falling in love, to gathering with friends, to selling a product. People want to know the story behind things they care about.

I think that photography is another way to tell a story. So let's tell stories together.

The Process

01. Connect

Reach out to me through the connect page or through my social media and let's talk about they story you want to share.

Share your story

02. Conceptualize

Once we get the details laid out, we'll discuss the shoot so I can get an idea of what you want the end product to look like whether it's one photo or hundreds.

Develop Your Vision

03. Create

I'll be there to shoot whatever you want and won't stop until we have the shots we need. Your vision is what I want to create.

Bring it to life
